Diversity Clues is rewarded the contract to manage the ITI Project, phase 2
Over the past year (September 2007-March 2008), the BC HRMA led a very successful pilot project supported by various partners and stakeholder organizations, entitled «Immigrant Talent Integration Project». Olga Scherbina and Patrick Coady were hired as project consultants. The goal of phase one of the project was to create a baseline of understanding about the current practices of BC HRMA and its members with regard to immigrant integration and to provide relevant ‘best practice’ information to the organization and its members.
Phase two will focus on developing 2 key resources that will fill the gaps identified in phase one: an Immigrant Talent Integration Employer Guide that will address the gap in knowledge, and a new web-section within the existing HRMA website, to address the gap in resources.
Olga Scherbina and Eleanor Guerrero-Campbell are contracted to manage the project, conduct the research and develop the ITI Guide and a resource page for BC HRMA members.
