BCITP Net session at the 2nd BC’s Immigrant Professionals Conference

As a Chair of BCITP Net, Olga Scherbina facilitated the session about BCITP Net future during the 2nd BC’s Immigrant Professionals Conference in Burnaby. Over 30 people attended the session and provided their inputs and suggestions with regards to BCITP Net next steps. Participants suggested that immigrant group should move into a more action-oriented mode to help better integrate immigrants.
“It is better to make mistakes and ask for forgiveness that sit and do nothing” was the cumulative reaction of immigrant-conference participants. “We have to take leadership in this field if we want to see changes happen”.
