The workshop will highlight the findings from the research that was conducted by Mrs. Shcherbyna and Mrs. Angeles in 2015-2017 and will shed a light on the changing policies and practices of Metro Vancouver municipalities to address the emerging needs of newcomer residents. The research has also informed the content development for a chapter in the incoming book by Penny Gurstein and Tom Hutton UBC Press: Planning on the Edge.
