The Western Canadian Council on Diversity and Inclusion (WCCDI) meeting in Vancouver
The Western Canadian Council on Diversity and Inclusion (WCCDI) officially formed in July 2012 after a successful one-day meeting (hosted by Husky Energy) in Calgary that featured presentations by renowned diversity author and speaker Andrés Tapia (President, Diversity Best Practices), TELUS, Agrium Inc., Saskatchewan Government Insurance and Husky Energy.
WCCDI is currently in its early stages as a Council, and will remain in growth mode in 2012-2013 as we look forward to building a forum for the unique diversity challenges of western Canada.
WCCDI, and its Eastern counterpart, the Council on Inclusive Work Environments (CIWE), assists organizations in cultivating dynamic, inclusive and supportive work environments, leveraging diverse talent and developing organizational cultures so that all employees may fully contribute to organizational success.
Next meeting – March 5 & 6 2013 in Vancouver
