In January this year, the Canadian Immigrant Magazine asked its readers, “Who inspires you?” With more than 600 nominations, the esteemed judging panel (made up of past winners and other contributors) had the difficult task of determining a shortlist of 75 candidates. Olga Scherbina was nominated by one of the readers and selected as one of 75 finalists for the RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant awards. Olga was notified by the Canadian Immigrant about the nomination last week.
