Diversity Roundtable: Learn from Practitioners Series: Discussing day-to-day challenges working in diverse workforce.

This time we decided to try a new format without a formal presenter and rather allow our participants to bring their current challenges in managing diverse workforce and dig into our communal wisdom and brainstorm solutions as a group.
Our former participants brought to our attention three potential topics for discussion. These are:
1. Reality vs ideology: use the prohibited grounds of discrimination
2. Challenges of recruiting agencies: how to educate our employer-clients about benefits of hiring employees from non-traditional pools?
3. Challenges of employers working with community agencies to diversify their pools: how to deal with a large number of community agencies approaching our organization to work with them?
The discussion will be facilitated by Jackie Felker and Olga Shcherbyna.
